Having been priced out of anything nice in Majorca (50% price hikes in two years!) for a cheap-ish spring holiday I'm trying Costa Teguise on Lanzarote for something new at the end of May
Papagayo bikes seem to be good value compared to other Balearic and Canary Island rental places I've seen or used.
The 3-10km climbs all seem to be of the 5% or less variety, ideal for triantelopes and old fat men like me
I used Papagayo in Playa Blanca at Xmas 2016, was impressed, got a carbon Merckx with 105 for the day for a reasonable price, lent me some shoes, & a filled cold bidon out the fridge that was for keeps. They gave me a map and showed me some excellent routes
