Anyone near NW3 hand have a crown race tool and headset press they could lend me one evening? I’d be eternally grateful. Currently bikeless!

I have a headset press in SW2 and bit of scrap pipe I've used to hit on crown races.

Might struggle to fit it in the gap

Hmmmmmmm. Yeah. What are the dimensions?
-

What are the dimensions?
25mm×50mm×50mm + whatever gap there is after you've snugged it up on the target tube.

Can I borrow it please and just to confirm it needs to be fitted parallel to the seat stays right?
Send me a pm with details if yes -

More or less. Strictly speaking, it should be aligned so that the plane with the drill guide hole in it contains the wheel axis, but a few degrees either way doesn't matter. The jig is made to guide a 5mm pilot drill and then flip over to guide the 6mm finished size, using the shank of the 5mm as an alignment guide while nipping up the clamp.

Gonna pay postage to borrow this in a sec, so if you need it let me know. Will keep it for a week or two at the most, then send it back to Tester

Has anyone near Herne Hill got a freewheel removal tool for a Shimano MX30? I think it is BMX style, like a Park Tools fr6?

I've one of them somewhere, I'm just along in Streatham Hill.

Thanksn
Too late to come up this evening? I fancy a quick ride...
-
• #1323
That would be amazingly kind of you!
Ideally, cheekily, I'd love to borrow it til Sunday. I'm putting a bigger freewheel to go off roading in Epping on Sunday then want to switch back after.
If that would work for you, I can come grab it within an hour of now?
I can bring you beer!

I don't drink beer(weird I know). Kinda prefer to keep hold of it and just ride your way twice so my tools don't vanish(not that it's anything amazing).
Where should I meet you? Or DM me something.

I’ve also got one if you haven’t already sorted it with clockwise. I’m on Coldharbour Lane, Camberwell end. You can take it away with you if you wish
