  • BTW, at least with WhatsApp the claim is that all of my chats are encrypted end to end and are not readable by WhatsApp and, by extension, Facebook.

  • Sony are the originators of this shit aren't they?

Their OG DRM checker was literally straight out of the 1984 playbook, secretly install a checker that is constantly monitoring everything you do in case you decide to listen to something you haven't paid for.

  • No. Samba.tv are.

They are selling their spyware to every smart TV manufacturer... make and model do not matter. Only whether the hardware is under your control or not.

  • I meant Sony did this back in 2005, it might be Samba.tv doing it now but it's not something new.

  • I assume this kind of thing isn't (yet) intelligent enough to see what you're watching if you're not using the services on the tv (so using Kodi/Plex on a separate box, separate TV tuner, etc).

(Although I still have a plasma tv so a fair bit behind this kind of stuff.)

  • Thanks for the heads up, I just watched the first one.

At first I thought it was a bit average, but then you see how it grows and grows and realise how hugely talented he is. Looking forward to the next three.

  • Urban Myths on sky are rather amusing (only watched a couple but am LOLing a fair bit)

  • Anyone seen Wild Wild Country on Netflix? It's absolutely bonkers and I've never heard about any of it before.

  • Marvel Runaways is showing now on SFX, the first two episodes are good, a slow burner

  • Lost in Space is cack.

  • I liked it, but I'm a sucker for space stuff. Didn't get into runaways.

  • Late to the party, but half way through The Night Of, which is brilliant. I don't think Richard Price has ever put a foot wrong in his writing and screen-writing life.

  • Westworld S2 ep1 felt a bit of a major filler to me.....typical season 2 stretch the storyline to the next ad break (i'm looking at you LOST!)

  • Westworld S2 ep1 felt a bit of a major filler to me

You're a bitter Anthony Hopkins AICMFP.

  • Like he's not coming back at some point...

  • Currently rewatching Legion season 1, so I can remember what tf happened, before starting on season 2.

  • Highly recommend 'The Sinner' on Netflix. It's the first series in a long while which has really gripped me and wanted to immediately watch the next episode.

  • britain had a new monarch, king edward, who despite his name wasn't a potato, he was a man

philomena cunk - cunk on britain

  • Westworld S2 ep1 felt a bit of a major filler to me.

Yup I don't hold out much hope from here on in.....

  • Does it get better? The first couple of episodes are iffy. Too much focus on the kids and their terrible acting (I realise it’s a kids show).

  • They recap quite well in the first episode without it being shit.

  • Does it get better?

I think the first episode was the best out of the entire season. It's pretty fun if you don't except groundbreaking TV. I liked the visuals and the music the most. Keep in mind like you said that it's a PG12 family show basically.

  • Dunno if it got better, it was a fun sci-fi space thing though, had lasers and hawking radiation and robots and poo powered spaceships, I enjoyed the whole thing.

  • Been watching Lost In Space and it’s starting to feel a bit like Lost, in space.

  • It is bad, isn't it?
