Do you rate it? I'm looking at the ENDURACE CF SL DISC 8.0 DI2 or the ENDURACE CF SLX DISC 8.0 DI2 and trying to work out the slx version is worth an extra 1500....

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the difference with the sl and slx is purely the weight. I think unless you're into the weight weenie then you'll be fine with the sl.

I am not that precious about my bikes, so I will be putting bikepacking bags on it and even tour so I thought the lighter model would be a bit fragile for the use so went with SL .. I have rode it a total of 20 miles so far but will let you know as I ride more. But so far its fucking amazing.
IMO Go for SL, amazing value for money. I bought a frameset and built it with Ultegra Di2.

Yep, was also looking to do some light touring on this bike so good to know. Thanks

I also went with SL. I can live with the extra 100 grams weight. Used the 'saving' to buy some chinese crabon wheels for summer road riding and use the original DT Swiss wheels with knobblys for light cross / muddy gravel or Jack Brown's for drier conditions. Non-Di2 version. It's great.

some in DBAD thread but need to take proper pics.
also @jakemcree did about 50 miles yest, it rides like a road bike not a road bike with disc brakes so thats great, climbs well and at the lowest aerocockpit position I can use all 3 positions very comfortably. H31 is GREAT the sweepback on the tops is really useful. The VCLS 2.0 seatpost really really makes a lot of diff, going through pot holes yest some places I felt like the seatpost was slipping but it was just the 'spring' in action.
In my small size only tiny gripe is the bottlecage mount on DT could've been lower for bikepacking bag and aero gainz. I will have to use side entry cages when I use a framebag.
10/10 Get one ASAP.

Want an Endurace CF SL for when I can finally ride again. In storm green, in small. Frameset has been sold out for about a month. Speak to Canyon "Yes, back in stock soon". That was a month ago.
May have to pony up for the full bike..

Pretty vanilla...gutted they wouldn't do the green frame in this spec.
And in the woods...

Noice! What gumwalls are those?

Jack Brown greens - 700x33

• #1990
how much clearance is left with those tyres?
-
• #1991
Plenty...About the same out back as well.
-
• #1992
That's pretty impressive

The fork will accept even bigger tire: a 37 mm WTB Riddler (which is a true 37 mm tire, but it has a shallow profile) just fits, but with insufficient mud clearance.
The rear will probably max out at 35 mm, as the same tire would not fit between chainstays. -

Anyone know how much steerer/spacer stack I can expect the AEROAD CF SLX 8.0 to turn up with?
At £3200 with deep carbons and Ultegra it's looking very appealing. Any tips for measuring my current riding position to compare to the geo chart provided? I've completely slammed the stem on my Roadlite 7.0 and am on a negative rise, longer one, but I'm still nervous about how much I hear about the aggressive fit.

27.5mm spacer as mentioned in the geo chart and I have confirmed this with canyon that its additional to the frame stack. There is a low stack bearing cover option.
There is a way to measure current stack and reach to compare in this video:

Cool. So I can take it that, for the 'S' frame size, stack is effectively 560.5mm (from 533mm)?
-
• #1997
yep, I can measure when I am home on Friday and confirm if you want
-
• #1998
Thanks. This is my retul chart, but is a couple of years out of date. As I mentioned, I've since switched to no spacers and a 100mm (from 90mm) stem, which is -17 degrees.

Doesn't the Roadlite have a 40mm taller headtube than the Aeroad for same size frame?

33mm
I do, CF sl disc
