We've always had pretty strong finances in since we stabilised our PL place. The problem will definitely come from 17/18 finances and the speed at which we can return to the PL.
The whole FFP thing is ridiculous as we (and other lesser teams) are being squeezed as clubs who were rich before FFP came in continue to raise the price of competing for even mediocre players to the point that we can't afford to staff our team competitively.
I think the FFP rules are less applicable in the Championship so hoping we can have a little cash injection from our owner (a la Wolves) and return with a better baseline to remain competitive for longer.
As least we're not Sunderland!!
