• I bought the frame and fork new in 2012 from Tokyo Fixed, swapping out the original fork with the carbon one pictured (it has an alu steerer and has mudguard eyeles. I forget the brand).

It was a commuter and winter trainer for 2 years, always run with mudguards and I did a couple of bike packing tours on it. It was then stripped down and has sat around gathering dust so has to be moved on.

The carbon fork has enough clearance for 28mm tyres with mudguards (this was with Velocity A23 rims and gator hardshell 28 tyres). That's the max it will take with that fork.

The frame size is 57cm. Columbus Zona tubing. M-Part headset included, in good condition. It takes long drop caliper brakes (I still have one, maybe two that I can throw in).

Pros: versatile frame, good clearance, relatively short chain stay geometry makes for snappy cornering.

Negatives: as the photos show the paint in TERRIBLE condition. It was applied so thinly that you only need to look at it and it fell off. The frame needs a respray. Also, the paint around the mudguard eyelet on the chain stay brace has come away and there'e a small brown patch around the eyelet, which might be the naked metal or a little corrosion. It seems structurally fine to me.

This is a link to what it looked like new and built up (with some new/old parts). This will give some indication of how I had it set up for my 6'3'' height. If anything it was too small for me - look at all those spacers. It would be more suited to 6' I think.

Someone please come and give this thing some love.

£150 for the frame and fork. Collection only from Kingston or Fulham. If I can find the original fork I'll throw this in free, it's brand new but not technically part of the sale. I will look for it if it's going to be a deal breaker (I'd rather not have it hanging around).

Pics of the frame and carbon fork should hopefully be available at this link:
