• That's what I used on my OWN FR-01s....I just got a second set through the post too.

  • One word of advice though is to source 2 hole cleat plates, not the 4 hole he recommends...otherwise you'll have no adjustment.

  • Another pic of the finished article... Cos I know @TomvanHalen loves them! :p

  • That's a neat job man!! Nicely done!

I just wish someone made a full size carbon insole/ adaptor with 3-bolt (or 4-bolt Speedplay) fitment :(

If only I could have a pair of super rigid Vans Old-Skools compatible with Speedplay Zeros...

  • Not bad - how narrow is the fit?

  • These are quite nice I reckon, simple and fairly inoffensive. I have just bought pair of the ‘road’ version of them in black and switched out the laces to bright orange to cheer them up a bit. Be warned - the sizing is pretty odd - I had to drop from my usual 45 to a 43 to get them to fit properly. I expect it’ll be odd with both the mtb and road shoes!

  • FIVE TEN DISTRICT SPD
Hi, i've Just converted from straps to clipless, so far so good.
Been riding them for a couple of weeks and feel good on and off the bike paired with Looks X-Track pedals. Minimal to no cleat clunk whilst walking, would recommend but have nothing to compare them to. They're a tad orthopedic but i think will look better with age.
Chrome Truk pros ordered from santafixie Barcelona, hopefully a bit more light weight for summer months

  • Just received mine now. Feel a bit narrow but fine for me and I have kind of wide feel. They feel and look really amazing quality. Great for £28.

  • so my quoc pham hardcourt lows just snapped directly along where the metal plating is inside the shoe. ffs.

anyone had any luck getting them to replace them? they're less than a year old and mileage on them is not huge (1300 miles) and i dont ride brakeless/skid in them ever

  • Nobody ever listens to me! :)

  • But yeah, they replaced my first pair no problem, then when the second pair snapped a couple of months later I got a refund.

  • there was mention of them maybe having been updated and I was after the lows not the boots so figured it might be better. :(

  • If I hadn't just spent £90 on these, I'd be all of over those. They look pretty sharp for the money.

  • I got them in my usual shoe size and it's a weird fit, tight around the middle but loose in the heel and toe. Not comfy at all, will be returning.

  • Can you get them in the UK?

Bit pricey ordering from the US.

  • Only direct from him unfortunately. It's not a cheap option, but I'm happier with the result using these. I like that no matter what shoe they go on, the cleat never touches because of the rubber bumpers either side.

  • Fair enough.

How do the bumpers wear? Just wondering if they would outlive my trainers and could be transferred to a new pair.

  • I've not put in enough time with them to know yet. The only issue with transferring is that you have to cut the plastic sole part to fit the shoe...so they might not work then in a different shoe.

  • Ta; will give them a punt.

  • Does anyone who currently owns Kursk Pros buy them online and have the email receipt with the size in it?

The size is marked inside (it's a big letter printed on the inside of the upper) but I don't know if it's the US size or the UK size.

Mine - which after five years have pretty much worn out - say 8. But I don't know if that's US 8 or UK 8 and I didn't buy them online so I don't know what size I bought!

    Any help much appreciated.

  • I would think that'd be the us size because they're a us company, but you could email them and ask

  • The cleat plates in my Giro Rumbles are creaking like hell. Anything I can do about that?

  • It's a US size.

  • My quoc Pham hardcourt boots have finally given up the proverbial, the rubber heel has come away from the fabric/sole. Had them for 4 years so got a good run out of them.
Replaced them with a pair of the leather urbanite boot, which was on sale, hoping I get a similar length of time out of them..
