Something I've said since I was in my teens, I blame the clash of Southern Manitoban Plattdeutsch and growing up in a mostly Métis town.

Fascinating, I didn't know that variation existed. You don't even need Platt for the "ge-", it's standard German. Can you do this with any verb's past participle?

I obviously like bad 'jokes' like that, but it can't have escaped your attention that participlisation doesn't work with a pure noun. :) It would have to include the full participle, e.g. "Gegessenesbrötchen", which you might as well write the way it's intended, as "gegessenes Brötchen".
