OT: Middle Eastern dining table and chairs

Posted on
  • My wife bought this when she lived in Dubai. It was, apparently, a door from the house of a sheikh and has been turned into a glass topped table.

It’s not necessarily in fashion right now but it’s a bit of a statement piece for the right room. Six chairs, each with a foam cushion covered in dark red fabric.

It will need collecting from SE13 with a van and at least two blokes at each end. I can help with packing it up. The glass will have to be lifted out and wrapped up.

No idea how to value this. My wife paid about £250 for it and so let’s start there.

Let me know if you have any questions.

  • I will take this off your hands, subject to dimensions. I just need to ensure it will go in my pickup and, more importantly, through my doors!

  • I bet that weighs a lot!

  • How strange, Pascoe Road?

  • Wow. I want that as my front door!
