Oh really? No use?
-
• #678
I mean it works, but it's shit.
-
• #679
Cool, splurged and bought a Park Tool instead.
-
• #680
Can't really go wrong there!
-
• #681
Yeah in fairness, no point buying rubbish.

Anyone know if Aldi or Lidl are still selling workstands?
-
• #683
Aldi just had a cycling week, if you get lucky the one near you will have stuff leftover?
I'll look at the streatham ones tomorrow evening and let you know if I see some.
-
• #684
Totally forgot... as you do.
This is in Streatham Aldi atm.

The 4-legged ones on Amazon are better imo. Having the opposite legs being 180 degrees means you can just pull them apart to extend it. The 5 legged ones are a bit more awkward, not a huge deal but something that would annoy me every time I set the stand up. Amazon ones should be about the same price too.

Anyone else noticed a dearth of apple squash in Aldi? Wtf is going on?
-
• #691
Brexit Britain.
-
• #692
Worse than this can't get any pancetta.
-
• #693
I went there today and they had apple squash (and pancetta!) - I bought a crate. They’ll take our sovereignty but they’ll never take our cheap apple squash!

Popped in first thing got Merino T & Long Johns, arm warmers (near identical to endura baa baa) and the cree usb lights.
Bottle of Speyside too.
-
• #695
Aldi Speyside is bloody good, and dirt cheap too.
-
• #696
Cree front light any good?
-
• #697
First taste last night, I agree.
-

It looks bright & well constructed for the price, yet to use in dark & remains to be seen how battery lasts after many charges.

Is the speed and cadence sensor any good? Thinking when I'm using the turbo in the house over the winter months.

Looks just like the Coolspo one on ebay but double the price.
I can't recommend that stand. 5 legs is awkward, and you really have to haul on the adjuster to lock down the arm rotation
