In terms of dealing with him from initial inquiry and during the build process he's been fantastic.

Very friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and approachable (and busy...).

As for the ride I can let you know after Sunday when I finally collect it.

did you design it colour-wise, parts-wise yourself ?

Main colour is my choice/fault.

Parts are collaboration. I wanted belt drive from the start and went the Phil Wood route but Ricky advised on wheels, crank, headset, brakes etc. Handlebars are my choice/fault but Ricky built the stem. The copper mudguards were his take on something else I'd seen.

Love the colour.

Yeah, the team bikes are fantastic. The turquoise Chris King stuff looks great on the dark blue frame.

As well Campagnolo would look utterly wrong on this.

Anyone know what Ricky charges for a road frame these days? Thinking of my next project.
