A few pages back I mentioned that ProAm was the cheapest professional photo lab, well they've join up with a couple of other labs and are now trading as Simlab and (probably unnecessarily) even cheaper.
18 x 12" is £ 1.05
25 x 18" is £ 12.00

They do Giclée too (if that's your thing)
60 x 40" is £ 61.60

So that's the end of Flickr then?

..well it's been very shit for a while now , and I don't really know what "SmugMug" is exactly but the name is shit and their logo is shit so I'm not really getting my hopes up.

Seriously though I'm baffled how nobody is actually doing a nice photo community platform,
one that's about the work and the community, not about selling shit / self promotion / facebook integration or whatever.
I'd actually pay for that if it was done well.

Same. I get tempted by 1x every now again and would give a trial month a go but they only allow minimum sign ups of three months.
In the mean time I have met other local photographers and been to meet ups via Instagram, so it'll do for now.

Have been using mirrorless cameras for a month or so now, and impressed. With EVFs and in body stabilisation they do feel like more advanced tech than DSLRs, which themselves are beginning to feel like an intermediary step from film.

This is hand held at 1/10sec which I'd struggle with otherwise
