• Totally agree, but setting up the right bound/rebound on an 80mm fork is a pain in the arse. Aside from XC racers who have mechanics who do that, the average user of that bike is probably better off with a bike with high quality, well adjusted tyre pressure.
    It was always a pain explaining Sag to customers to begin with, let alone fine tuning load/preload dependent on riding conditions.
    Not disparaging the merits of suspension at all, just highlighting some of over reliance people put into it.
