I'd have to disagree on MGSV. While it's the game that's disappointed me the most, the mechanics were incredibly solid, and the engine was amazingly well optimised.
Sure, getting Kiefer Sutherland in to record a couple of lines of dialogue for the entire story, which wasn't finished off, and resulted in more questions than answers was all a bit shit. As well as setting it in a bland open world, there was definitely a lot of missed opportunity. But it's still an absolute joy to play.

Also, I'd be disappointed in an MGS game if it didn't start with a 40 minute cutscene...
