Hmm. I want maximum clearance with a normal road caliper central bolt/nut thing (I believe that's the technical term)

Edit: maybe I want Tektro R539s, they clear a 35mm-ish:

Tektro is the sensible choice. Aesthetics are the only reason to look elsewhere.

Those Dia-Compe 750 Centre Pulls can be made to function with the right pads, set up and some motivation.

Gran Compe 610 are the bling choice.
