If you're not concerned with time and it's TCR training then wouldn't it be prudent to race on the TCR bike?
Yeah, I thought about doing that. It's caked in mud so I'd have to clean it prematurely though.
My secondary objective for this year was/ is to have a go at getting a decent 100 time, which means getting back on the TT bike.
Also I felt a bit nostalgic when I saw people going under the hour and catching myself thinking 'i used to be able to do that'
I think if I did a TT and had a really crap time I'd hate it. I'd use the TCR bike for a club event on amersham road where I'd ridden out but it seems a bit disrespectful to do it in an open.
I like 100s too. They're typically longer than the drive to the event and yet leave you time for the pub afterwards :). Maybe I should throw one in this year just for the LOLs.
