  • Im using some opensource libraries in a project at work, I only have to publish the code if I make changes to the libraries. Right?

  • It depends on the license you've agreed to.

    If they are licensed under a GPL type license, then yes, you need to publish any modifications to the code. If they are licensed under a more business friendly open source license, like Apache, BSD or Mozilla, then you are usually under no obligations to publish modifications.
