I can’t see any sponsor successfully suing, they won’t be able to counter Armstrong’s defence that they turned a blind eye.
I think that’s the end of it. He’s managed to finish on a winning note too, as a $5 million settlement is definitely a victory for him.
Let’s hope he fucks off into obscurity now.
It won’t happen though.

He's already settled the major ones, and it's surprising the US Gov settled this for so little if they could have scored 100 mil. Wouldn't be surprised if Lance has been making some strategic donations to the Republican party, or maybe they just realised that they'd never actually recoup that much cash because he's put it all in trusts and shell companies...
At any rate, the lawyers always get paid regardless, don't they?

Ahh - I didn’t realise this was the 2010 suit filed (bizarrely) by Landis. It has dragged on in that case.
I’d be very surprised if this was the end of it. Every sponsor will presumably get in line for a payday.
