Had a similar thing happen to me from driving down a street at the wrong time of day.

Fine was served by recorded mail on a Saturday... which was a shock.

Still no sign of the fine itself, it’s a bit sword of Damocles at the moment.

Also my first ever (presumed) traffic violation

I had a similar thing years ago but had to pay £60 or £80 in "admin fees" for something vague that never came through. I think it was a speeding camera in france as I got flashed, but never got a ticket for it
