Still weighing up whether the whole idea is stupid, but I can probably just fall asleep under the Isen stand when I get there and the weather forecast is looking good (even a slight tailwind supposedly).

Bear in mind my route starts/ends in Farnborough though! Easy enough to reach from central but still adds some kms if you ride there.

Interesting. I generated one with Komoot which I was considering giving a go because I keep meaning to test a longer Komoot route + it got it down to a neat 200k door to door.

No, seems all along roads - i followed it on streetview and it looked like roads anyway. I routed for 'road bike'. It looks like their routing has improved a bit since I last tried to make a route on it. But I'm going to double check it again before setting off into the darkness
