    Hey,

I bought a frame from you about 5 months ago, and lets just say I have been disappointed by your obvious lack of honesty. It came to my attention, that on ride last week my saddle slipped, I therefore tried to repair it with little success. Surprising since I always use a torque wrench not to damage the threads. It had become clear that the threads were damaged - but not only that but that you helicoiled one of them, as the problem must have occurred previously.

Not only would I have not bought the bike if I knew that the threads had been tampered with, the job was particularly done badly wrong length helical. It now leaves me with the two options with the bike: skip it, or have the aluminium cut then welded then tapped which is not a cheap process. It has been difficult to find someone who is prepared to work on it, and I have been quoted over £100 (the best i could find - looked for a long time).

Therefore, I would not think it wrong for you to contribute towards the repair, on the basis of blatant lie, and the failure to mention it at any point. This forum relies on honesty, and I would be sure (if we can't make an arrangement) to put this on the forum for others to see the risks. I hope we can agree on something, tell me what you think.

    Thanks,

    Jules

I bought the frame off Mechamorgan. I did no repairs apart from have it stripped down at Soho Bikes, had no issues, and used it for less time than you did- it was a donor bike for parts for a different frame.

You've used it for 5 months, and at some point have done the damage yourself and are trying to blame me.

I have no reason to contribute to your issues at all.

Ask literally anyone on the forum and they will vouch for my honesty, and I've been around here a lot longer than you have. So I'll post this publically because- its nonsensical.

They stripped Morgan's old bike, and put the bits across.

In case of confusion the dispute is raised by @Gorix

I will let the forum decide.
Will check back in a week.
