Does anyone know of the too-expensive blue beiks that are the same size as folding bikes but don't fold? I think they are nordic of some sort.
I got my wife's "klapprad" stolen and am after a replacement. She is a tiny-un so these sorts of bikes are perfect.
Kind of like this https://www.ebay.de/itm/Klapprad-20-Staiger-Vintage-Duomatic-2-speed-Kick-1978-hellblau-techn-gut/112941472053?hash=item1a4bd61935:g:mGwAAOSwxL1ae2Pu except no Klapp and the ones I have seen are more of a royal blue.
I saw them in Berlin and looked them up but they were too expensive at the time. Now I am thinking maybe it is worth it especially since it has gears, SF has hills, and she isn't much into fixie skidding around.

Is is OK to put an ad on here if you're looking for tenants for a flat? Basically reposting the estate agent's ad? Have I just answered my own question?

Does anyone know what these wire rung supports for wooden ladders are called? And if I can buy replacements?

Does anyone know any good free resources for PowerPoint and Word?
I need to take an online PowerPoint and Word test/assessment.
After not performing as well as I think I could have on the xls and outlook - partly because of the system and partly not actually knowing everything - I want to do some practice.
Also if anyone knows of a good list of no F-key shortcuts that would be great too.
Cheers!

Not sure what they're called, but threaded rod would probably work.

Yeah threaded end rod is helpful. Thanks

All shortcuts are on the MS website in quite a friendly format https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/keyboard-shortcuts-in-excel-for-windows-1798d9d5-842a-42b8-9c99-9b7213f0040f#ID0EABFAAA=2013

I use the normal single release Shimano cleats and they're recessed 1 - 2mm. They don't click most of the time, just sometimes on bumpy hard surfaces like rough concrete with the flints sticking out.
If you have to shim your cleats out to fit your pedals they might click. Then again if it really bothers you, you could take them to your local cobbler and get an extra bit of rubber put on the sole.
The Kursk Pros are great shoes, have had mine for 2 years of commuting and they're just starting to fall apart. Look like normal shoes and they're comfy.

Aha, thanks. I clearly misremembered as they aren't too expensive, don't have gears (for the most part) and the 3 speed looks ugly. Hmm.

@mdcc_tester I think you may have answered this already but can you think of anything to help the Rotor cranks lockring stay put? Using their specified variety of loctite and their torque spec. isn't enough it seems. I think I questioned upping the strength of the loctite but you said it wasn't any stronger, maybe? Can't find the post now though and I need to sort it again.

Aha, different thread (pun intended). Thanks!
"Using higher strength thread lock isn't going to help if you're not degreasing the threads properly in the first place. As the threads are anodised aluminium, you should probably be using primer 7471 before applying Loctite. If all else fails, you could always ask Rotor to redesign their crank/spider interface to something which doesn't look like the primary design goal was to have the spider push off the crank whenever pedalling torque is applied."

I removed and cleaned the chainrings and it was still making noise, then weirdly installed a mudguard and the noise stopped. Maybe the bike realised it was so ugly with the mudguard it didn't need to squeal any more.

I know but it's normally the first place I check. Google came up with some £10 aerosol but none of the droppers.

Are there any forum recommendations for an affordable, waterproof light/small folding bivvy bag?
Also, the same again for a sleeping bag? -
