Ah, that's the other wheel set, which are Stans Grails. On this wheelset I had the end caps already. They're DT swiss ones
For the sliding inserts in the back:

Ah ok!
I think I will also upgrade the rear with Thru Axle! Thanks for the tips!

Check if your wheels will take end caps ... depends on the make!

I have HuntWheels, so it's easy to change the axle!

Should be trivial, just get the right axle kit. See edit above! 142x12 for the Paragon B4027 and B4037 inserts.

Hey Wolverine Club, this is a longshot, but I'm after the thru axle fork for mine - does anyone happen to have a spare, or be looking to switch to the qr version and fancy a part exchange? Unlikely I know...

How do you not fall off the back of that saddle?
-
• #237
I've levelled it out since, it was at a ridiculous angle!

looks good with the silver rims...
What's the weight of everyone's builds? Not a weenie but was surprised to weigh mine recently and find it's over 14kg. Does have an absurdly overbuilt Surly Nice rack, dynamo, discs, and chunky tyres mind you so it's always going to be a limo rather than a sportser but definitely heavier than my old 531st canti tourer.

I've never weighed mine but I'd be very surprised if it was under 14kg
-
• #242
11kg ish
-
• #243
11 is acceptable, 14 can fuck off .. even ed cant shit 3kg.
-
• #244
That rack is 10% of your bike's weight

Wut is this?

There is a distinct lack of 'guards, dynamo and rack on Pascalo's tho. Tell me you would have a functional build without them?
If going offroad touring it's good to know it can be cut down a fair bit anyway.

Dunno, works for me ... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Bars are cowbell 2, so a tad flared and I ride a fair bit on the drops and "grab the levers by the horns" if that makes sense ...

Yeah. I'm not the touring folk ... either it's nice here down in Australia, or I get caked in mud because I am off-roading. Most of the time it's just dusty as fuck.

Just weighed mine and to my absolute surprise it’s only 11.8kg. No racks or dynamos but it does have mudguards and 43c gravel king SKs on
