• Another beauty that needs to go since I don't have time to restore it. This time an beautiful and very rare Gazelle AA from 1970!. It has custom lugs which I have never seen before on a Gazelle. Probably one of a kind and special made for the last owner. According to the frame number, which is 2423157, this bike can also be dated back to 1970, which is more or less the first production year of the "Champion Mondial". This was the most expensive model back in 1970, and also has the extra options like the chromed fork and rearstays.

I've bought the bike from a former pro rider who lived in Almelo, a place in the east of the Netherlands. I haven't changed much on this bike. It is still exactly how I found her. Everything is still original, even the brake rubbers, and the saddle, which both need to be replaced .

The bike is still in a good condition, especially if you take into account that it is almost half a century old. It has several paint damages and touch ups, but is completely original. The chrome is still in a good condition. The frame itself is made out of reynolds 531C tubes. Furthermore is the bike equipped with a Campagnolo Record group. Except the seatpost and the pedals which are made by Zeus. The rear mech has been replaced by the last owner and is from Miche. The wheelset consists of Campagnolo Record high flange hubs laced to Mavic Module E2 rims. Beautiful bike for a very fair price in my opinion, I've paid more or less the same here in the Netherlands :).
