My inlaws and us have moved in together (we have a child now and they are old so it makes sense.) There are good and bad parts of this but one thing that is pretty intense is that my MIL won't not make dinner every night. Even when I come home super late from work there is a rad plate of food waiting for me. At first I tried to get her to stop because I felt guilty but my wife told me it is just The Japanese Way at least for the older generation and if I refuse she thinks I hate her cooking. ¯\(ツ)/¯
Anyway these are like just a random tuesday night dinners or whatever (are "I'm lucky"-brags cool?)
