FS: CAAD 8 frameset, 54, 2012, with BB30 Gossamers, £80 > SOLD

For sale, 2012 Cannondale CAAD 8 frameset, size 54. Originally purchased of the forum the plan was to build either a lockup-able road bike or respray it but things changed so it's no longer needed. The crappy BB30 bearings have been replaced at LMNH with Rotor steel versions and the there's a new FSA lower headset bearing as the original was worn out. When doing the bearings i had the gossamers installed, they've been squeak free so they're staying on and are included in the price.

I cleaned it up in the sun yesterday and it buffed up well but make no mistake there is a lot of age related marks on this which is reflected in the price. That said the paint job has really grown on me and it didn't look untidy when built up. Steerer has been cut, bottle cage bosses were spinning so they've been replaced with new riv nuts which are solid. No dents or cracks, fits 28c's, hidden mudguard mounts, did a recent 130 miler on it and it rides very nicely. New c/dale cable guide included and i'll throw in the stem shown in the album if you want it, the silver FSA ring in the pic below (looks rad!) is not included but can be had for an extra £10 (100 miles max). £80 gets it, collection from Sydenham preferred but i might be able to take it to Clerkenwell, no postage ATM.
