  • I had a pair of those and they did clack (might have got a bad pair,idk. I have heard other people be happy with them), also made it like you were walking like ice for a moment of the stride.

    Only ones I've found that are properly recessed are DZRs and giro rumbles.

  • I use the normal single release Shimano cleats and they're recessed 1 - 2mm. They don't click most of the time, just sometimes on bumpy hard surfaces like rough concrete with the flints sticking out.

    If you have to shim your cleats out to fit your pedals they might click. Then again if it really bothers you, you could take them to your local cobbler and get an extra bit of rubber put on the sole.

    The Kursk Pros are great shoes, have had mine for 2 years of commuting and they're just starting to fall apart. Look like normal shoes and they're comfy.
