  • We've been meaning to go to Tierra for ages, and couple of times tried when we've been in town and it was shut. Thanks for reminding me! We'll definitely try soon, it's only 15 mins from us.

  • Anyone know of any decent spots in Barcelona that are Vegan and/or Gluten Free...

  • Any recommendations for a vegan friendly hotel in Berlin?

  • YouTube shooter is a militant vegan. Batten down the hatches, folks.

Also, she’s Persian - I’m in Persia right now and have had to eat a few vegetarian things - the only place I’ve had more difficulties is Afghanistan. This is an almost impossible country for vegans, but possibly the best place I’ve ever been otherwise, mainly because of the people. Great bunch of lads.

  • Fried seitan day.

  • Does anyone have any recommended vegan protein powder/post workout drink - ideally that 1) can be mixed with water and 2) not rank (2 possibly unlikely). Thanks

  • Just out of curiosity. To prevent muscle soreness or to increase protein intake?

  • Mixture of both really.

  • Hey guys,
I'm after vegan cafe recommendations in Bristol (for Bespoked at the weekend).
I've been to Cafe Kino and liked it but it's not near the venue.
There seems to be loads of options in Bristol, too many to choose easily.

  • I'm also interested in this, gonna be there on Sunday

  • been to Cafe Kino and liked it

    yea me too

  • Vx is a 20 minute walk from the bespoked venue! Way better than the London Vx too!

  • I had some of the "chicken" pieces from M&S today from their fresh "veggie" range. £2 a pack and really good fried, would recommend.

  • Wasn't a fan of the one in London... I took some colleagues there a while ago and they almost seemed put out that we were there spending our money... how very dare we!

  • I think I've had these before... good for stir fries etc

  • The bulk powders complete vegan blend seems popular and they always have offers.
They also do a hemp one which is meant to be good but I've only ever used pea/rice proteins. Mixability is always an issue with plant proteins because they can't dissolve but generally they're ok – hemp is known to be the least-mixable but many people swear by it.

  • No matter how much you want to like it, VX Ldn is crap. Doesn't know if it's a café, foodstore or clothes shop, and fails at being any of them. No member of staff has ever knowingly smiled at a customer.

  • I'm looking to do some vegan meal prep. A weeks worth of food, high protein low can anyone recommend one meal that fairly interesting and easy to replicate.

  • Red lentil pasta with various things slopped on top.

  • Lots of good inspiration on YouTube, just search for vegan meal prep.

  • I use the pulsin pea protein. I usually mix it with a smoothie or something, but it seems pretty neutral. Usually not too pricey too.

  • Staff in Bristol seemed much happier! I had a similar experience to you when I visited the London one!

  • Yeah I'd have to agree! The benefit of the Bristol one is that it's easily 3 if not 4 times the size with lots of seating and very friendly staff!

Comparing the food from the two I'd have to say Bristol was better again! Had more to choose from and better kitchen facilities!
