But CX! Mud killed the SRAM ones

That's an argument for seals, not grease. Once you get mud into them, grease will just hold it there.

I give it 6 months before I have some from Hope :)

Here's the link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/wacako-carbon-road-bike-fork-bicycle-parts-c-brake-disc-brake-700c-wheel-Barrel-axis-fork/32816606877.html
Not taken pics yet, will do soon. One thing to note is that they won't take a 28mm tyre, tried that and the top of the tyre hits the crown, width-wise there's a fair bit of room. I've stuck a 23mm on for now and I'm pretty certain there's clearance for a 25mm.
Oh and there's nothing to attach the brake cable to on the fork leg, I've attached it with a little velcro thing.

Are there any cheap 130 BCD 42t narrow-wide chainrings? The 104 BCD ones are only a fiver so £30 for 130 BCD seems a bit steep. Throw my cranks away and get some new ones for another tenner I guess?

Ah, thanks, I didn't try eBay. The AliExpress ones are all weird things like this one, I assumed eBay would be the same

Hello everyone, i'm looking for a cervelo r3 type generic frame, but in 58cm.. any ideas ? TY
-
• #6813
I've had a few J&L they're perfectly good quality

That looks pretty folder specific given it's 58T. Depending on what tooth size you're after, 104mm might be difficult to find as the cheapos only go up to 38.

It says "BMX Folding bike" in the title (of course they just put whatever the hell in the title) but looks like you're right, the 42t 104BCD ones are £15. I'll just get that J&L then. Thanks

58 is the new 57 for testers.

Yeah those J&L ones seem to be a good option. Mine took just over a week to arrive. Another option would be to look for Hope Retainer Rings on eBay - They seem to go quite cheap.

Weird. "Shape: oval" as well though it looks round to me. It's going on a triple crankset so the offset is unnecessary but I could stick it on the outer ring position I guess.
Edit: wait, don't think that one's narrow-wide. I need NW because my chain keeps popping off. Oval would have been fun though.

Can also vouch for J&L off ebay. Havent dropped a chain on super rough off road on mine yet

Anyone know of a good seller of decent looking/quality FOakley Radar Lock? The ones I can see through searching look cack.
Thanks in advance

On the otherside, I've had a J&L NW that has snapped a tooth about 3 weeks in.
Brand new chain, new cassette, unexplainable.

Do you have Chris Hoy legs by any chance?

That is strange. I mean those J&L rings are really beefy - They're so thick that I ended up using double-chainring bolts to fit them to my crank.

No amount of beef on the main body can get past the fact that the chain is pulling sideways on a tooth which is only 2mm thick
If they are ceramic, they don't need grease
