The steel diamond bike is so close to being just as good and the Ti loops are pointless (I have Ti and Al versions, the Ti was just a silly spend). It makes a much better dirt road bike than most gravel bikes.

just in case I mess up some of the mounts on the outer leg, so i can just use a thru bolt. And some lowride racks mount on the inside

afaik brake tab on the outer edge ("tangentially", according to david kirk https://www.bikeforums.net/15437249-post39.html as pointed to me on the other forum) is the way to do it as it resists de-raking and the braking forces in general in a better way

I still want the Ti one. Titanium All The Things.

Ed - these do 35c + guards - lots of fun to ride (if not the current flat mount and thru axle standard): https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/road-bikes/gt-grade-cx-rival-2017-cyclocross-road-bike-red_378753?
I'm running an ally one of these set up for off road and a carbon one (£400 more) set up for wet road (full guards) - oh the joys of cyclescheme.

Interested, not least because the Pacer is now extinct. Its geometry looks perfect.

new niner.
from biek radar : a prototype full suspension gravel bike from @ninerbikes with a RockShox RS1 fork cut down to short travel. Who’s keen on this then? @ Sea Otter Classic -

At what point does it stop being gravel and start being a drop-bar mountain bike?
-
• #3666
80mm travel

i'm completely against this, but at the same time i think its the best thing i've ever seen

This looks like a silly amount of fun!

so fucking stupid I can't believe

When you spend > £4k on it and it still weighs more than 8.5kg.

• #3672
ouch!

I find the dropper more curious. If you're riding that steep a terrain, surely you're better off with an XC bike no? Also 140mm rotors on a 'fast' bike?

It's beginning to feel like nineties Paris roubaix when everyone started running rock shox and Kelly made their full suss road bike.... Ain't no new thing as Gil once said! :)

I said this before and got a shitstorm of abuse. If you need a dropper on your gravel bike, get a mtb
What are the mounts for on the inside of the fork leg?
