  • Mmm. Not exactly Oleg Tinkoff levels of investment-not that it should be as an amateur organisation. Just find that the lexicon doesn't really sit well

  • Oh certainly it's daft, but that's where we are in 2018. It's cycling "cops & robbers" basically, dress up and make believe.

  • According to their website, Steve Coxshall "started the sport aged 15". Maybe we should be a bit more grateful considering they literally invented competitive cycling.

  • I read that as 'not sure if sarcasm or steroids'.

  • ask him how paying 4k to enter a sportive made him sponsored by Pinarello and Campag. There was no mention anywhere of him riding for "U C St Marlow" ( V C St Malo?) then or any of the other stuff about winning Championships etc as a junior. Seems paper thin that such a master of self promotion would fail to mention these things previously but suddenly puts them forth now.

  • There’s a definite hint of Bruce Bursford about him.

  • Marlow

I've ridden through there quite a few times.

  • The same guy is: mates with Ed Sheeran, managed Blue and is basically the Wolf of Wall Street.

  • mates with Ed Sheeran

We've heard all we need to now. Burn him with fire. Ironic ginger fire.

  • Maybe we can use a loop station pedal on his screams

  • Down for the same race as I this weekend, Simon hook. Wonder if ukad will turn up.

Solo win from 2 laps out I see.

  • I also hear the whistleblower had a phone call from some Barista types

  • Yeah super strong ride. Rolled of the front of the break, 4 chasers going full gas and rode them off the wheel.

    Seriously impressive.

  • I believe I’m following the correct IG account in case he blows off again.

  • Doubt it... Lawyers involved now

  • Boooo. Fuck libel laws. If Gaimon can accuse Cancellara in a book, surely these two can have it out on social media for our entertainment.

  • So who's the accused and who's the accuser? Or will you get sued if you tell me?

  • Oops, got the link for the 2016 race. :$

  • He's certainly getting some attention. Went to Regent's after and did a 5:37 lap (fastest in 2018 apparently) at 365watts too which is pretty amusing.

I've only heard of a couple of riders who have had the same impact at his age in the last few years; Andy Critchlow and Nick Noble, both of whom were knocking around the GB National team in their youth. Andy's comeback has been far steadier too. Being a former downhill MTB racer doesn't really match up to be honest.

  • "300ap (320np) for just under 3 hours"

    Recovery ride!

  • 288/334 for me.

  • "I want what he's having... "

  • Slippy too

At 360w it takes me 5 minutes to get from the lights at York Bridge round to the US residence. I’d need to do over 80mph to complete the rest of the lap in 37seconds.

Was he on a TT bike?
