Having not had a road bike for years and realising how tractor-like(but awesome) my lht is when riding with others it’s clear I need an on-trend groady thing.
Will be my only road bike and will only do lighter off road duties as I’ve got the lht for touring anyway.
I’m a massive surly fanboy so looking at their pacer replacement but realistically I can’t afford it.
So, need room for slightly knobbly tyres with mudguard clearance, geo to suit my 5’10 t-rex figure and take a small front carrier while being nippy like a road bike. Cheaper the better or ideally frameset.
Not fussed about wheel size or brake type.
