Pretty scary. Those five years have flown to say the least.

Didn't someone die?

I remember @KRZ and the kid (with a fixed/fixed trailer bike combo) trained it to Guildford then rode the traffic-free 70KMs towards Brighton with the idea it would be funny to see you guys at the seafront.
Just outside of Shoreham that hellish wind and rain came down and soaked us.
Had coffee and cakes at Hove then caught the train back.
5 years..

Dunno if this is the right @Joss but Joss fainted at the bottom of Ditchling because he didn't eat a single thing during the ride and due to the weather and broken up nature of the group, it wasn't immediately obvious. Didn't realise till we were on the train and I called him and a paramedic answered. Oops! Sorry Joss.

Ha ha.
Not sure why I was thinking of this ride but had a quick search and it turns out it's the 5 year anniversary of one of the coldest, wettest i've ever been on a bike. Barely able to hold the cup of tea at Brighton station from the shivering, wringing my socks out in the train toilets. Good times.
