I like that, but then I often like sculptures made from old rubbish. Are you sure it's not meant to be a calf? It looks more like one given the proportions.

Remarkably good work. That calf seems to get about a bit. :)
It seems to be meant as a Biblical allusion, so would more commonly be referred to as the 'Golden Calf' in English.
