Potentially unrelated but I used to get pain in my hip and solved it by stretching. It was a pain that felt like it was right in the joint of the leg/pelvis but was caused by tight hip muscles on one side. Turns out years of sitting with one foot resting on a knee caused an imbalance.
Fixed it by doing this every other day for like 5 mins:
Will speedplay pedals help with my hip (which sometimes becomes knee pains)? Is it float that I need? Currently on look keos. Had a bike fit but eventually the pain returned.
I need a solution that isn't: become better cyclist. Tho, maybe that is the only answer. sad face.
