You ran a full cable housing on your CAADX before moving to hydraulic didn’t you?
To be fair, Cannondale doesn’t use compressionless housing at the time, and for some reason not build very well (lots of friction on brakes).
A full compressionless cable housing make a big difference in braking performance, Ive just finished a bike build from scratch where the rear TRP Spyre felt exactly like the front, nice and sharp.
