They’re also adjustable so you can limit the float in each direction. For example, I occasionally caught my inner ankle on my crank arms so just tightened the inner screw on the cleat and now it stops my foot turning in enough to catch the crank.
I do fully recommend speedplay but not necessarily to fix a fit problem
