    The flip is that because it’s public now, any race he attends is a media circus. With no one caring about the racing, just Froome and the debate.

  • For me this is the reason The Guardian shouldn't have leaked it. They said they did to get it out in the public eye where it may have been hidden without the leak, but at the same time it puts Froome on trial-by-public-opinion, where public opinion is extremely low anyway, and hung a pall over much of this season until it is resolved. I haven't really watched Froome much this season on purpose, but he will make watching the Giro and Tour awkward methinks.
