It’s not like there is/was a thriving football scene in Leipzig.
The Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen situation is equally as dodgy.MK Dons can do one. Ruining Wimbledon the way they did makes it all the sweeter when they go down next month whilst AFC Wimbledon stay up and will be playing in the division above them.

I think the comparison works.
It's come about a different way, but they're still a club with no history or tradition, who have been allowed to circumvent the rules that apply to other clubs. They're as hated in Germany as MK Dons were in England while people still noticed they existed.
