This is the shit I'm talking about.
I love the idea of something like that being used not necessarily as a "daily" but not kept hidden away and used regularly in mundane life.

I was just about to say that it looked surprisingly good on the minilites! Never would have thought it would work!

I'm back in the UK visiting my parents in May and my old man has signed us up to do a production car trial. Anyone on here ever done one?
-

Is that where you turn up and there's about 30 cars you can try?
My mate's done a few, invited me a long but I was always busy. He said they're good, not always the top spec model there, but usually 5 or 6 decent cars to try.

A PCT is where you have to drive around a grassy field between pylons over normally tight / twisty course and undulating terrain.
I've done a few (in my rally car, a long time ago) and they're quite good fun. Clutch control is a thing. RWD cars aren't as good. Used to see people bouncing up and down in the back trying to get traction

As @mcmyk says, they're a trial (sometimes on a field but sometimes over a decent distance) where you have to navigate undulating terrain, steep hills etc. The trial we're planning on doing is a one day event that seems to run over farm/moorland. We're going to be using an automatic BMW 318i Compact. We're guessing that we'll probably get stuck but have a laugh.
This is a video of the kind of thing although hopefully ours will be a bit more tame...

Would recommend a strategically placed cement bag in the boot

Sorry, but it sounds like you're the sort of person who thinks The Terminator is better than T2 just because it was the first.
I can't talk to you.
Hahaha, you're way off the mark. T2 all day.
Yes, hypocrite... -

The minilites look very good on the fozzy, wouldn't have guessed that!
Speaking of Foresters, nearly bought one last weekend but it was a silver, non turbo 2.5 and just too dull. Hard to find a xt that hasn't been abused though.

What a delightfully preposterous sport! Love it

I'll just leave this here...

Bertone?
So awesome! My favourite car and an insta-buy with a Euro-millions jackpot win.
I followed one on the M1 for about 10 miles once. Took the turning towards Silverstone...
I thought all F40s were red. Looked it up and only 9 left the factory in yellow according to the interweb Ferarri nerds. Makes it an even rarer if original.
Final F40 paint nerd fact; you can tell if an F40 has original paint by looking for the carbon weave. Paint was super thin out of the factory.
