I love my Rab Xenon hoodie, had it for couple of years and still going strong. Is there something like that for trousers?

insulated trousers??
Ah shit should've mentioned, packable rather than insulated is the priority.
-
• #3784
get a sarong. packs down well.

here's the good shit:
As Tucas Sestrals trousers
PHD down trousers
Montbell Thermawrap trousers -
• #3786
Synthetic insulated: Montane Prism, PHD Sigma Primaloft pants
Both relatively light but neither pack small.
If you want super light and don't need insulation, something like Patagonia houdini pants are windproof, sub 100g and pack super tiny.
OMM Kamleika is another popular option, assume pack size is relatively small

Slightly OT but related... anything cheaper or UK made for adjusting bottle cage height, at la;
Wolf Tooth stuff looks nice but it's ruddy pricey for a 30-40g of alu. Or make some possibly...

Is there a way to attach a bulky container to a rear rack? At the moment i am using Osprey Transporter 65L on my back, but, after recently trying out panniers, i started liking not wearing backpack in the rain. It is not heavy, about 10 kg, but bulky.

My Restrap handlebar bag is too close to my front wheel, not helped by the fact my biek has short headtube/ no spacers.
Options:
New bag
Hover type bars (raise about 15mm)
New biek -

New bike, obviously. But you should probably also get a new bag to match said new bike.
-
• #3792
depends how close, but a couple of extra straps under the two front straps cinched to the handlebars might hold it up hight enough
-
• #3793
Bounces on the wheel a few times and hasn't been fully loaded, I'll try the bottom fork straps strapped over the top.

New biek ordered!

How are people routing their dynamo cables in and out of their top tube bags. Purchased an alpkit medium fuel pod, which works great, it's just that there are too many cables in the way when I open/close. #firstworldproblems

Both my bikes are out and out racers, smaller frames with aggressive geo.
Ok for 4-5 hours but not for all day/ night rides. -

I forget where I've seen it done but essentially one webbing strap looped under the stem, ran over the top of the bag and looped through something on the front of it, pulled to the correct tension, will lift the bag as much as you need and solve this problem.
Hopefully that makes sense?
Also, lowering tyre pressures by 20-30psi and adding one extra spacer under your stem and/or a slightly shorter stem would probably have been cheaper, but a new bike is obviously the sensible choice!
edit- found photo, basically what blackburn have done with the outpost bar roll.
