371mm reach is pretty short, no? Means toe (foot!) overlap and limited space for bottles on the third cage.

I was going to go for 375 or 380 on mine. I am 5'7"

If it’s what fits, what can you do?
Changing fork or head angle changes the steering and chainring st angle changes fit

My thoughts:

Option 1, decrease to 100 stem and increase reach by 20

Option 2, if custom fork: slacken head angle and increase rake to maintain trail for a given tyre diameter

I'm by no means saying that @psee should do this, more that it's what I would (am) considering doing

Appreciate the input. I've asked them to make it 560mm instead. Which results in a reach of 376mm. Still short but within limits imo.

I'm 173-174cm (is that 1'8" ?) and my Ridley cx has 376mm reach (535 mm top tube).

The Fairlight Strael 2.0 is probably the closest match in terms of sizing. Was looking at that before i decided on another custom as the price and lead time would be about the same.

Their 56T (tall) has a 558mm TT, 180mm HT, 380mm Reach and 600mm stack.
It's limited to narrower tyres and it has no additional bottle mounts though.

I believe it's the size 58 in the photo.

Have you looked at the Faran? It's got better clearance. Although still only 2 cages.

Their sizing (with the extra sizes) is great

Yeah their 'Proportional geometry' is very nice. The faran feels more like a Croix De Fer, loaded touring type of bike though.

So the frame is scheduled to be built later this month. Wasn't made aware of the lead time, but i guess i've been spoilt previously where they basically started building right away. Just means more time to accumulate parts and contemplate paint choices.

I love the paintjobs on Field cycles frames.
Might go for a darker subtle tone with some contrasting bright colors somewhere.

Also asked if i could do custom decals/logos for the frame.

I really like the look of the green one in bottom picture on the left.

Some geo changes again. Slightly longer reach and slacker ht angle.
Thinking of a blue/petrol-ish paintjob. Tough time deciding.

Painted. Didn't turn out exactly like what i had in mind but what the heck. The bottom was supposed to be more towards grey, and the top a darker less saturated blue. Should look cool built up anyways. Paintjobs can be changed later thankfully.
