I've been trawling the nets and there are a couple of sites saying that you should hang on to the Elegantes.
Their reasoning being that they weren't too popular at the time so now they are a bit rare.
As for the Tissot. I'm assuming it's gold plated but might be wrong. Mum bought it for Dad on their first wedding anniversary. Cost £35 apparently.
Interesting! I sold an oyster very similar to that about 7 or 8 years ago, for WAAAAY less than it appears they are worth now.
I also have one of those tissot seastars that I wore to my wedding. boxed and everything it as about £120. I think it is the solid gold ones that are quite rare and valuable. I will be stoked if it is now a £500 watch...
