Getting pretty excited now!
Is 10am at Chingford Station the actual meeting time/place, or was that just what you went with to get the ball rolling?
Shane's going to drive us over from Spixworth, so we'll obviously need to plan a bit ahead, with that in mind, any good free parking nearby?

Space for a third? D:

Champion, thanks!
I'll let Shane know it's going to be a long old day with a 2hrs+ drive either side of the ride.
Plenty of road trip bread and butter pudding required, methinks.

I'm not sure, but I doubt it - he's only got a little car, and I think bikes will be going in the boot with the seats down :(

Free parking near the station (its an unadopted road so no parking restrictions)

Ah, even closer, excellent! Good to know there are options either way, thanks :)

Looking at 700m of climbing.
That might only be 2/3 of the way up Snowdon, but it's more than twice the average Badger ride.

I'm not going to make it I'm afraid (I know, I know...).
Getting the train each way means leaving at 7 ish and gettting home at 7 ish (presuming that we ride from 10-4.30) and that is a bit too long to be away I'm afraid. -

Boo. I knew more than 4 Norwich folk on one ride would be pushing it :-(

Right here. I'll try to actually do it, but can't promise anything.

Well, that didn't go as planned.
Despite me giving him the date way back, it turns out that Shane is now double booked with family commitments on 28th, and can no longer make the ride. Boo.
I really dislike train travel with my bike (especially the 12hr+ round trip it would be), so for the time being I'm out as well, and that obviously means no car share for Tom either. Double Boo.
That said, I might have a change of heart, but for now I'm just pretty gutted that the #adventurebros car trip won't be happening, as that was going to be half the fun.

Oh no, the Norwich curse strikes again :-(
It's not a bad train journey. No bike reservations needed, and I've never known it to be packed on there.
You'd have some half decent company at least ;-)
Ok
