Yeah but he is a long way into his career, its very late to suddenly decide winning Paris-Roubaix is one of your career goals. When you have only ridden it once before.

He wants all the monuments.

He's only 35. So another 15 years in him before he's the same age as Valverde.

Ha! Yes I am looking forward to another 15 years of Gilbert riding at the top level like Valverde.

If he wanted all the monuments he should have started earlier. I think the 50k breakaway in Ronde fried his head a bit.
