  • Yeah but he is a long way into his career, its very late to suddenly decide winning Paris-Roubaix is one of your career goals. When you have only ridden it once before.

  • Maybe he saw Hayman and thought, fuck it, why not.
    (Yes, I know how many rides Hayman has had in PR, that's not my point)

  • Hayman is a great example of a rider winning P-R late in a career, but at least he loves the race and rode the shit out of it throughout his career. He also won it in the coolest way possible, in the break all day, sit in with the favourites as they ride across to him, do no work because he's been in the break all day and then mug them in the sprint. Chapeau.
