Yeah, it's in the centre of one of the most popular places for students/families to live in Norwich, and suffers from a combination of several circumstantial problems.
It's a main route from the University into town (and is meant to be part of the 'pedalway' which was developed a few years ago) so there's lots of traffic of all kinds, but it's a very narrow road once you factor in the inevitable parked cars and has speed bumps all the way down.
There's a primary school on the same road, so it gets even more congested at times with cars and pedestrians, not to mention a number of even smaller terraced streets and a handful of businesses which intersect it.
And just to exacerbate things further it's a fairly pronounced hill in both directions (for Norwich) so speeds on bikes are maybe unexpected, and obviously harder to judge for all concerned.
