Who are these guys? Some kickstarter team?
Super Recoro Shimano Chinese copy... ?

i'm not the only one

Fat lawyers are the only people buying this shite and they wouldn't be able to pedal out to their Ferraris with proper gears.
-
• #6430
Only possible on Powershift and eps tho.
-
• #6431
Multiple shifts, gotcha!
-
• #6432
12t, a bit pointless on 2x but would make a good 1x cassette.
Has 1x been discussed here before?

Super Record and Record are road specific groupsets, makes more sense adding a sproket than removing a chainring IMO.

That’s not pretty

For Campag maybe, can see it being different for SRAM when it inveitably happens. That extra cog would make for a nice 44t 10-34 road setup, well that would be my preference anyway..

• #6436
For commuting/light travel maybe.

It seems pretty baffling why it’s launched without EPS... maybe it’s just a coincidence that it’s the day after a Shimano team won roubaix again
-

True, but pretty standard procedure, R9100 came months before R9150 was released.
Funfact: PR was won on mechanical R9100

Would happily road race/train/ commute/sportive on that, it compares nicely with my old 52/36 11-28. The current 50t 11-36 setup is a shade compromised and that extra cog with the right cassette would cover all of my riding.
Will wait for 13 speed before I upgrade again anyway..

On that note, the general public cannot buy a rim braked version of Sagan’s roubaix.
I was really impressed with that factor. Isn’t it the same frameset that they use in grand tour mountain stages?

Another one of those UCI rules that they just choose to ignore for the hitters...

Factor/David Millar likes Cervelo R5 which is essentially what it is.

Without the BBRight bollox

Don't recall seeing these mentioned but for 1x nerds...

glad to see some 1x content starting to appear in this thread.
-
• #6446
Why would you want 1x though?
-
• #6447
For me personally it's about aerodynamics
Mostly though it's about increasing my post count when the 1x arguments start. :)I think 1x is dumb for most road applications.

The old boys think it’s about efficiency, weight, aeroz perhaps.
Of course it’s only for the likes -
• #6450
Efficiency? not with a 9T and sick! cross-chaining.
Weight: I think 1x was heavier due to the bigger cassettes.
Areo: winning!
Insta: what?
Lower groups have the thumb button angled down, making it easier to use from the drops.
