Glad you had a better shift this time. I always carry a water bottle and usually end up stopping at a Tesco local for snacks. Most restaurants will fill your bottle up for you as well.
Did you receive an email that stated the delivery fee? In most zones it’s £4 per drop.
Edit - had a search on the Deliveroo riders (unofficial) Facebook group and someone said it’s £4.25 in Edinburgh.
I have seen people mention a Edinburgh riders whatsapp group so would be worth posting on the Facebook group to ask about it, if you are interested.

Ah great, yeah it was buried in one of those emails and is £4 then. I didn't read those emails in great detail because it was during the "onboarding", and I got about 15 in total and I was a bit rushed to get through them and get it over with.
Edit: I asked another rider about the Whatsapp group, she said someone tried to add her to it but it didn't work so she can't help me. Will be really helpful; apparently last night was really busy in Edinburgh South, meanwhile numpty over here was waiting 30 mins between deliveries. So hopefully there'll be people on there saying "don't bother tonight in this zone" and so on.

Much better in the other two zones today, I did 13 deliveries in about 5 hours which isn't too bad, and £7 in tips. The downside is I was riding up a lot more hills and over a lot more cobbles. Also I was very thirsty and hungry the whole time so I'm definitely going to bodge some bottle cages onto that frame. Fun though and a great day for it.
Edit: question, I can't find what the fucking fee per delivery is anywhere on the internet or on the app. Do I have to just wait until they pay me?
