• Anyone driven a Nissan Navara? My cousin just recommended them as a family car. I thought he was joking but after doing some reading it seems like the 2016 update made it a lot more comfy and economical to drive.

  • I've got an Isuzu Rodeo

Plus points: Pulls horse trailer no bother, filthy dogs and horse kit can go in the truckbed, laughed at the snow

Negative points: Glacial slowness, handles like a pig, steering is dangerously vague, slight oil leak, fan belt squeaks, needed £700 of chassis welding to get through last MOT.

Conclusion: Don't get a double cab as a family car unless you really need the space and/or towing power

  • Which year though? Afaik the Navara got its rear suspension updated in 16 making it handle better and drive more comfortably. Apparently it’s heaps better than previous generations

I hear you on the slowness though, not sure about that point. The towing will be good though as I’m planning to buy 1.5 tonnes of boat this year or next

  • Isn't that a vauxhall frontera from aboit 1993 in drag?

Saw a film the other day and thought I recognised the thing. They weren't good when launched in 93, defo didn't see many around past the 8 year mark, can't believe they sold it as late as that in the US! Feel like it has an Isuzu diesel engine though?

Edit, an you mean the pickup! Sorry was referring to this ugly little bugger
